Patrice Palmer is the owner of Workplace Happiness, Workplace Well-being. She has more than 20 years’ experience as an Adult Educator, Trainer, Coach, and Curriculum Writer in Canada and Hong Kong, SAR. During her 7 years in Hong Kong, Patrice was responsible for developing English Language curricula for secondary schools, vocational training programs and summer intensive courses. She also developed and delivered workshops for teachers of English related to teaching and learning.
Patrice has a Master of Education degree in Teaching, Learning and Development from Brock University, Canada; a Master of Arts degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto (Canada) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University (Canada). She is a certified trainer (CTDP) and has a coaching credential with the Centre for Positive Psychology in the USA. She is currently enrolled in the Certificate in Positive Psychology at Wilfred Laurier University.
Patrice is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association and the Canadian Positive Psychology Association. She co-presented a poster session at the CPPA conference - G.R.O.W. - A Framework for Personal and Professional Growth.
Patrice has conducted Character Strengths workshops with the YWCA, Workplace Happiness for Rotary Club members, and Growth Mindset for Professionals with the Southern Library Association.
