Patrice Palmer, Teacher Self-Care Workshop Facilitator

Patrice Palmer, M.Ed., M.A., CPP has more than 20 years’ experience as an ESL teacher (OCELT) TESL trainer, and writer. Patrice has transitioned out of classroom teaching and works as a teacherpreneur doing the things that she loves such as writing, coaching teachers, and applying the science of positive psychology to all her work. Patrice’s personal experience with professional burn-out in 2015 prompted her to reflect on her own lack of self-care and adopt positive psychology interventions which she now shares with other educators and administrators. [email protected]

Melinda Walker, Owner | Yoga Instructor, 7th Wave on Brant

Having experienced the many health, strength and wellness benefits of yoga first-hand, Melinda decided to continue her studies to serve the varying needs of the community. She enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga which proves that we can be stronger at any age.  Melinda is experienced in RYT Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, SUP Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga for Brain Injury, Yoga for First Responders and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
